Job summary

Cocoon House in Everett, WA is seeking a Coordinated Entry Navigator to connect young adults (18-24) experiencing homelessness with services and housing through Snohomish County’s Coordinated Entry system. The role involves case management, outreach, enrollment, and data-driven follow-up to achieve grant outcomes.

The position supports equity and inclusion, with a focus on serving diverse youth. Ongoing training and a data-driven, collaborative work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience with young adults experiencing homelessness or similar populations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong crisis de-escalation abilities.
• Knowledge of adolescent development and strengths-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals and coordinate with navigator staff to enroll young adults in Coordinated Entry.
• Collaborate with Cocoon House programs, law enforcement, resource centers, schools, churches, and detention centers to identify youth needing services.
• Case manage youth to connect them with resources and housing; move caseloads efficiently to meet grant outputs.
• Maintain a discrimination-free, cooperative environment and meet deadlines through data entry and file organization.
• Attend meetings and trainings; ensure contract compliance for activities.
