The Youth Specialist at Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency will help maintain a safe living environment for residents of West Creek Apartments, a supportive housing community for formerly homeless youth ages 18–29. The role provides resources and collaborates with the building manager and service providers to support tenants toward stability and independence.

• Experience working with individuals or families who are unhoused and/or from various social backgrounds.
• Special consideration given to bilingual candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the front door and provide safety to the residents of West Creek Apartments.
• Maintain composure and work effectively under stressful conditions.
• Communicate effectively with property management and support service providers.
• Establish relationships with residents to help ensure their goals of stable housing are met.
• Utilize conflict resolution and crisis management skills.
• Provide information and resources on services and programs available within the service area.
• Respond to client’s defined crisis situations as needed.
• Adhere to requirement for tracking information.
• Other Duties as assigned.
