Friends of Youth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Full Time Case Manager for Willows. The role covers temporary vacancies across programs to ensure seamless support for young people and families experiencing homelessness.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed care, housing-first principles, and rapid adaptation to caseload changes. Starting wage is $27 per hour, with annual increases and union representation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a human-service field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience with youth, young adults and families experiencing homelessness.
• Experience with trauma-informed, positive youth development, housing first and harm reduction.
• Experience utilizing motivational interviewing.
• Knowledge of regional housing resources.
• Ability to de-escalate and manage crises.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intakes, assess needs, and develop ILPs focused on housing, education, employment, and mental health.
• Assist clients in navigating CE and housing applications; coach independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency/funder requirements.
• Collaborate with staff to connect clients to referrals and support services.
• Provide written daily and weekly notes and program updates.
• Attend staff meetings and meet weekly with supervisor to discuss caseload updates.
• Respond to emergent client needs and promote client voice.
