Job summary

The Seattle YMCA is seeking a dedicated Case Manager within the Y Social Impact Center to support low-income youth and young adults facing housing, education and employment challenges. You will build strong community partnerships, develop individualized plans, and guide clients toward independent living by leveraging education, job readiness, and housing services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, social work, or related field; Masters preferred.
• Experience with teens or young adults in employment, housing, education, and related services.
• Ability to teach independence skills for diverse learners.
• Strong engagement and relationship-building skills with youth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to transport self to community locations; valid auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide education, employment, housing, or other services to youth and young adults.
• Develop individualized, strengths-based service plans.
• Understand contract/grant terms to meet outcomes.
• Research best practices and maintain resource library.
• Maintain thorough participant notes, plans, and progress in databases.
• Teach life skills and job readiness in groups or individually.
• Collaborate with YMCA staff and community partners.
• Build relationships with funding liaisons and service providers.
• Support housing, education, health, and life skills outcomes.
• May assist with program coordination and job-focused activities.
• Participate in annual fundraising and community engagement.
