Job summary

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. is hiring a part-time Hockey Program Instructor to grow the next generation of Rangers fans. You will be responsible for leading hockey programs and ensuring children's safety, while promoting the Junior Rangers message.

The ideal applicant will have extensive hockey experience and be able to work throughout various regions including Connecticut, Hudson Valley/Westchester, Upstate New York, Long Island, and New York City.

This opportunity includes an hourly pay range of $22 — $22 USD and emphasizes growth and equal opportunity for all employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 5 years coaching or playing experience.
• Strong knowledge of teaching hockey basics is required.
• Enthusiastic and energetic interactions with peers and participants.

Responsibilities

• Grow the game of hockey by promoting programs and engaging children.
• Lead on-ice lessons according to USA Hockey’s model.
• Ensure the safety of children ages 4-14 during activities.
