Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of Northeast Florida is seeking a Youth Development Professional for Health & Wellness at Victory Pointe in Jacksonville. The role focuses on developing youth wellbeing, setting goals, and guiding safe, constructive activities for ages 6–18.

You will implement health and life skills programs, plan events, track data for grants, and collaborate with staff to ensure quality programming and a positive Club environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs specific to Health & Wellness.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success by planning and implementing health and life skills programs.
• Recruiting and retaining youth for the health and life skills programs.
• Work with staff to implement programs throughout the school year.
• Track and report student data for grant purposes.
• Ensure programs promote safety, quality, and Club appearance.
• Participate in local, state, regional, and national Boys & Girls Clubs programs.
