Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida seeks a Health & Wellness Youth Development Professional for Jacksonville Beach, FL. This Regular PT role helps members develop physical fitness, reduce stress, and build life skills within a safe club environment.

You will plan, supervise, and deliver sports and recreation programs for ages 6 to 18, coach teams, recruit participants, and collaborate with staff to ensure program quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.
• Knowledge of youth development and ability to motivate youth.
• Ability to plan and implement quality sports and recreation programs.
• Ability to supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a variety of sports and recreation programs for members 6–18.
• Recruit and retain youth for sports programs.
• Coaching teams in club sports leagues.
• Ensure programs promote safety and program quality.
• Prepare weekly activity and attendance reports.
