Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of NE Florida in Fernandina Beach, FL is seeking a Youth Development Professional - Health & Wellness to lead health and life skills programs for youth ages 6–18. The role involves planning, supervising, and delivering activities that promote healthy habits, safety, and positive decision-making.

The position requires fostering a safe, inclusive environment, completing weekly reports, and coordinating with staff to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.
• Knowledge of youth development; ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement health and life skills programs for members of all ages (Cybersafety, Passport to Manhood, SMART Moves, etc.).
• Recruit and retain youth for health and life-skills programs; work with staff to implement programs during the school year.
• Track and report student data for grant purposes; ensure safety and positive environments.
• Participate in local, state, regional, and national Boys & Girls Clubs programs and competitions.
