Job summary

Groundworks New Mexico seeks a dedicated professional to promote CPLC and its mission across the State. The role provides support, coordination, and supervision of program participants, with emphasis on outreach, recruitment, and coaching the program participant plan, as well as facilitating occupational and skills training.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Social Sciences/Planning/Management or related field preferred.
• Two years or more of case management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and at least three years’ successful management or planning experience in a community-based setting.
• Demonstrated skill in fundraising and/or program development.

• Promote CPLC and its mission and programs throughout the State.
• Provide support, coordination, and supervision of program participants.
• Outreach and recruitment, coaching of the program participant plan, providing occupational and skills training, coordinating services provided by Adult Basic Education providers, other educators as part of the YouthBuild program requirements, coordinating supportive services, and follow-up/retention services.
• Coordinate with educators, mentors and other professionals; generate reports and maintain case files (online and/or physical).
• Reach out to employers to set up tours, job shadowing opportunities, coordinate with guest speakers, and invite employers to job fairs.

• Communicateregularly with educators, mentors, other professionals, generating reports, producing and maintaining comprehensive online, and/or physical case files.
• Reach out to employers to set up company tours, job shadowing opportunities, coordinate with guest speakers/presenters, and invite employers to job fairs.

Other Information/Requirements:

Position is based in Espanola

• Associate’s Degree in Social Sciences, Planning, Management, or related field and work experience in youth services or affordable housing preferred
• Two years or more of case management experience preferred
• Strong leadership skills and at least three years’ successful management or planning experience in a community-based setting
• Demonstrated skill in fundraising and/or program development
