Job summary

The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South is seeking a part-time School Age Group Leader to implement activities and daily lesson plans for before/after school and summer programs. You will work with site staff to foster children's social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth.

You will model the YMCA core values, supervise groups of 15–20 children, and ensure safety and quality standards while supporting site operations and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
• Set up and break down program space to keep areas organized.
• Lead 15–20 children in activities as directed by Site Director.
• Follow safety standards and risk management policies.
• Assist in planning a quality curriculum meeting YMCA guidelines.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain supplies and inventory on site.
• Monitor licensing standards at the School Age site.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff and school partners.
• Assume duties as directed by Site Director.
