Job summary

The Hawthorns Golf & Country Club is seeking a Youth & Family Program Manager to lead engaging programs for youth and families. You will plan, coordinate, and execute activities, manage day-to-day operations, and supervise program staff to deliver safe, high-quality experiences.

Collaborate with departments, promote family participation, monitor safety, track registrations, and help with budgeting and promotion of events to enhance the member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating youth and family programs.
• Ability to supervise counselors and staff and ensure safety.
• Track registrations, attendance, and program feedback.
• Collaborate with multiple club departments to integrate events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing diverse youth and family programs, including recreational activities, camps, and events.
• Supervise youth activity counselors and camp counselors; provide training and guidance.
• Support day-to-day event management from setup to execution; act as on-site contact.
• Engage families and members; promote activities and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure activities meet safety protocols and maintain equipment.
• Assist in budgeting, purchase orders, and inventory for program supplies.
• Maintain records of registrations, attendance, and feedback; assist in reports.
• Collaborate with food & beverage, facilities, and marketing to integrate programming.
