Job summary

White Manor Country Club seeks a Youth Events Coordinator to lead youth, teen, and family programming within the Youth Activities department. The role focuses on planning, executing, and supervising engaging activities that are safe, inclusive, and aligned with the Club’s standards.

You will coordinate event logistics, assist with staff scheduling, member communication, and facilitate registration and on-site supervision during events and summer programs.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; college coursework or degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Event Management, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience with children, youth programming, recreation, hospitality, events, or similar environment preferred.
• Must possess CPR and First Aid certification or obtain within designated period of employment.
• Knowledge of Outlook, internet applications, and use of office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to coordinate multiple events, tasks, and deadlines.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach to developing age-appropriate activities and programming.
• Must enjoy working with children, teens, and families of all age groups.
• Excellent communication skills including strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff and event team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate youth, teen, and family events and activities throughout the Club.
• Implement creative, age-appropriate activities and programming for children and teens.
• Plan and execute Kids Club, summer camp programming, holiday events, family events, and teen programming.
• Coordinate event logistics including schedules, supplies, decorations, activities, food, and equipment.
• Supervise Youth Activities Counselors and other event staff during youth events and summer camp.
• Greet and engage members and guests in a professional, friendly manner.
• Handle registration, attendance, and sign-in/sign-out procedures for youth programs.
• Ensure knowledge of allergies, dietary restrictions, and special needs and communicate to staff.
• Maintain safety and inclusivity during activities and supervise meals where applicable.
• Coordinate and communicate with management and staff regarding event details and feedback.
• Be aware of Club safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
