The position requires a social work degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and relevant licensure/certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field.
  • Active Wisconsin social work certification for YFS.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to install car seats.
  • Knowledge of social work principles and human development.

Responsibilities

  • Assess reports to determine involvement and gather collateral contacts.
  • Determine services needed via interviews, home visits, and investigations.
  • Arrange services and connect clients with providers to meet needs.
  • Provide counseling and protective support for at-risk clients.
  • Maintain case histories and ensure confidentiality per policy.
  • Prepare court reports and related paperwork.
  • Support clients’ inner strengths and resource development.
  • Monitor case plans and provide follow-up actions.
  • Provide on-call services as assigned.
  • Respond to Emergency/Disaster Plan.
