Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is hiring a CANS Assessment Associate to conduct comprehensive assessments for children and youth across virtual, home, school, and community settings. You will maintain records, coordinate with families and partners, and support access to services in a collaborative care network.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in community mental health, Ohio CANS certification or the ability to certify within 21 days, and strong communication skills to connect

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Ohio CANS certification or ability to certify within 21 days.
• 2–3 years of experience in community mental health or related human services setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive CANS assessments for children, adolescents, and transitional-age youth in virtual, home, school, and community settings.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record and CANS portal per agency/state requirements.
• Collaborate with families, providers, and community partners to translate assessment findings and next steps.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with referral systems and OhioRISE programs.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and safety regulations.
• Travel within designated service areas.
• All other duties as assigned.
