Job summary

Harris County is seeking a Youth Enrichment Assistant to support the Youth Enrichment Program at Julia C. Hester House in Houston.

You will help prepare a variety of programs and resources to inspire and energize youths aged 6 to 18, assist with registrations, attendance, and data entry, and interact with caretakers and stakeholders daily. You will also help with field trips, monitor safety, and maintain a welcoming environment while supporting program growth and professional development

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years in program delivery with youth.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all program activities are ready and provide feedback to the manager.
• Engage with caretakers and stakeholders, track attendance and registrations.
• Assist with scheduling, data collection and work orders.
• Engage with program participants to understand community needs and report.
• Support field trips and maintain safety and supervision.
