Job summary

YMCA Stark County is seeking an Out of School Enrichment Coordinator to lead a welcoming program for children in kindergarten through 6th grade at our Stark County locations, delivering safe, engaging experiences before and after school. The role requires an OCCRRA School-Age Endorsement, CPL Level 3, or an associate’s degree in education or related field, plus the ability to pass a background check.

Shifts are Mon–Fri, 6:30am–9am and 3pm–6pm.

Qualifications

• Must have OCCRRA School-Age Endorsement, CPL Level 3, or an associate’s degree in education or related field.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• At least 18 years old with high school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead a welcoming program where every child feels safe, connected, and inspired to grow.
• Coach your team to create experiences that strengthen social-emotional skills, build confidence, foster friendships, and develop young leaders.
• Champion program excellence by leading daily operations, maintaining licensing and quality standards, and creating exceptional experiences for every child.
