Job summary

YMCA Stark County is seeking an Out of School Enrichment Coordinator to lead a welcoming program for Kindergarten through 6th grade at partner Stark County school locations, with AM and PM shifts.

You will coach staff to develop social-emotional skills, build confidence, foster friendships, and create experiences that help children belong and grow. Starting pay is $15.65/hour, with shifts Monday–Friday; hours vary by location.

Qualifications

• OCCRRA School-Age Endorsement, CPL Level 3, or an associate's degree (or higher) in education or a related field.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• At least 18 years old with high school diploma/GED (required).
• Previous experience with staff development & school-age children (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (preferred).

• Lead a welcoming program where every child feels safe, connected, and inspired to grow.
• Coach your team to create experiences that strengthen social-emotional skills, build confidence, foster friendships, and develop young leaders.
• Champion program excellence by leading daily operations, maintaining licensing and quality standards, and creating exceptional experiences for every child.
