Job summary

NAYA Family Center is seeking a creative, organized Academic and Enrichment Coordinator to join our Youth and Education Services team. This role creates engaging learning opportunities for Native youth in grades 2–8 during the school year and breaks.

You will coordinate daily programming, build relationships with schools and partners, support youth goal plans, and help create a welcoming, culturally responsive environment where young people learn, grow, and thrive.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Native American history and urban AI/AN communities is preferred.
• Experience with youth in educational, after‑school, or youth development settings.
• Ability to create age‑appropriate activities for grades 2–8 and support individualized goals.
• Familiarity with trauma‑informed care and culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate curriculum, schedules, and daily activities for weekday after‑school programming.
• Plan spring and summer camp programming for youth in grades 2–8.
• Create opportunities supporting academic growth, cultural connection, wellness, and personal development.
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and volunteers.
• Maintain youth records, attendance, goal plans, and grant reporting data.
• Support grant reporting by providing program information and success stories.
• Use social media and web tools to communicate with families and organize programming.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and cross‑departmental projects.
