Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience successfully working with children or young adults.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with vulnerable populations.
• Understanding of issues affecting recently arrived immigrants.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and rapport with youth experiencing homelessness and instability.
• Engage, support, coach, and develop youth using healing-centered engagement practices.
• Provide sight and sound supervision per state and federal standards.
• Learn and apply positive behavior modification; de-escalate and mediate as needed.
• Complete intake, enrollment, case notes, and incident reports within required timelines.
• Maintain accurate case records and input data into CaseWorthy system.
• Participate in PQI tasks and adhere to agency policies.
• Report suspected abuse or neglect within required timeframes.
• Work with staff, partners, and volunteers to foster a nurturing environment.
• Support with basic needs: meals, referrals, clothing, etc.
• Develop and deliver group and individual programming to promote housing stability, financial independence, community support, and wellness.
