Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a dedicated Youth Support Specialist to help youth develop skills for independent living. You will provide general support in various domains including mental health and education, fostering a welcoming environment at our South King County Youth Shelter.

This full-time position operates onsite in Auburn with a competitive hourly pay range of $24.50 - $28.00. If you have experience working with youth and a strong dedication to social justice, we encourage

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older unless supervised.
• Minimum one year experience working with teens or young adults.
• Strong youth engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Current state-approved First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general support to young adults in achieving their goals.
• Builds strong relationships with program participants.
• Maintains participant documentation in designated databases.
• Supports participant success in key domains such as housing and education.
