Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County is seeking a Youth Development Coordinator in Hollywood, FL to design, implement, and oversee programs that support youth education, leadership, and life skills. You will partner with schools, families, and community organizations to create safe, inclusive environments and monitor program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience working with youth in community-based or educational settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community partners.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive youth development programs tailored to diverse age groups and backgrounds.
• Coordinate outreach efforts to engage youth and families, ensuring broad participation and inclusivity.
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and volunteers to enhance program offerings and resources.
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, preparing reports to inform continuous improvement and funding opportunities.
• Provide mentorship and support to youth participants, fostering leadership skills and positive decision-making.
• Organize workshops, events, and activities that promote educational achievement, social skills, and community involvement.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and feedback to support program accountability.
