Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay is seeking a Youth Development Professional to lead and supervise youth activities, promoting belonging, health, and workforce readiness. The role emphasizes positive role modeling, collaboration with families, and ensuring a safe, engaging club environment.

The position supports community youth development across multiple clubs, with local travel to various facilities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in Boys & Girls Club or similar organization preferred.
Complete 40 hours of DCF training within one year of employment, including any training due within the first 90 days and all required in-person exams.
Successfully complete organization sponsored CPR training within 90 days of hire.
Travel may be required to multiple Club facilities throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Pinellas counties for training and professional development or other business purposes.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and supervise activities that focus on belonging and opportunity through academic success, health & well-being, life skill & leadership, and workforce readiness.
Serve as a role model to Club members and help them build skills, confidence, and opportunities for their future.
Model and uphold the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the organization.
Maintain a safe and positive environment with active supervision and clear communication.
Collaborate with staff, families, and partners to support programs and events.
