Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking a Youth Development Professional to assist in planning, organizing, and implementing programs for Milwaukee youth. The role supports healthy choices, resilience, and leadership through engaging activities and structured curricula.

The position emphasizes safety, attendance tracking, and collaboration with families and partners; CPR/First Aid and SCAN training are required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Within 6 months: CPR/First Aid and SCAN training or equivalent.
• Within 6 months: complete at least 2 non-credit DCF-approved classes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programs that empower youth to make healthy choices.
• Develop leadership and decision-making skills through activities and teamwork.
• Maintain attendance records and track member participation; generate reports as needed.
• Follow BGCGM policies on safety, supervision, and reporting incidents.
• Collaborate with families, volunteers, and community partners to support program goals.
