HANDY, Inc. is seeking a motivated Life Coach to empower youth, foster independence, and help them transition to adulthood. You will mentor, advocate, and guide youth through education, employment, housing, and independent living skills.

Responsibilities include coaching a caseload of 18–25 youth, developing action plans, coordinating services, and engaging with families and community partners to support positive outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• 3–5 years of youth experience.
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Excellent documentation and organizational abilities.
• Ability to travel locally.

Aufgaben

• Provide individualized coaching, mentorship, and case management to a caseload of 18–25 youth.
• Help youth develop independent living skills, including budgeting and problem-solving.
• Assist with academic planning and accessing resources to support education.
• Guide youth through employment readiness, job searches, and interview prep.
• Assist youth in securing housing and navigating independent living transitions.
• Assess needs, develop action plans, and coordinate referrals to services.
• Offer guidance to youth and caregivers during crises and challenging times.
• Conduct home/school/community visits to monitor progress and provide support.
• Maintain accurate case notes, assessments, and program documentation.
• Collaborate with partners, families, and stakeholders to support youth development.
• Transport youth to appointments and activities as needed.
• Participate in program meetings and occasional after-hours events.
