Edsi-9 in the United States (St. Louis area) is seeking a program staff member to support youth participants in gaining and retaining employment.

The role involves assessing skills, planning individualized strategies, and building strong relationships with youth to remove barriers to work. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, providing referrals, and documenting client records while reporting to the Youth Program Manager.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, training, human resources or related area preferred.
• Experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as to function effectively as a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized basic skills assessment and identify employment goals based on career interest, ability and personal development considerations.
• Develop Individual Services Strategy with youth and assist in accomplishing ISG goals.
• Build one-on-one working relationships with youth to mitigate challenges to obtaining and retaining employment.
• Facilitate educational activities in individual and group settings to remediate basic skills and increase functional educational levels.
• Coordinate onsite and offsite career awareness field trips with employers and educational facilities.
• Provide comprehensive case management and follow-up to ensure positive outcomes and goals.
• Provide referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies as needed.
• Establish detailed documentation of all client records and generate project reports.
• Provide regular updates to Youth Program Manager.
