Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is hiring a Case Manager Youth Engagement to provide pre- and post-employment case management, social services navigation, coaching, and supports to youth aged 16–24 in the Metro Chicago area. The role focuses on removing barriers to employment, including transportation, housing, healthcare, and skill development, with a grant-funded, 3–12 month timeframe.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience counseling/coaching diverse youth 16–24.
• Experience in social services, education, nonprofit management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support intake and assessment with staff to identify needs and develop program plans.
• Develop development plans with youth to outline goals and steps.
• Provide individualized case management and referrals to community supports.
• Provide skill development and job coaching as needed.
• Document progress and complete reporting within required timeframes.
• Comply with CARF standards and applicable laws.
• Maintain participant confidentiality and follow agency policies.
• Conduct outreach to explain services to potential participants.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Manage own work on projects; contribute as needed on team initiatives.
• Exercise problem-solving to address moderate to complex issues.
• Apply professional skills to modify processes as needed.
