Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Case Manager to support the Goodwill Workforce Development program participants with employment training and development planning.

You will assess needs, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with staff to ensure successful job readiness outcomes. The role may involve evenings and travel as required, with an emphasis on documentation and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or experience equivalency to support program work.
• Educational background in vocational rehabilitation to support evaluations and development plans.
• Prior experience working with persons with disabilities and disadvantages preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word) and Workforce Development information systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess participants for job readiness, education and training needs; develop development plans.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance; facilitate referrals to services as needed.
• Audit attendance against policy; monitor progress and conduct meetings.
• Write case notes and maintain planning/record documentation; protect confidentiality.
• Coordinate with galley management, HR, scheduling, transportation, and others to meet participant needs.
• Organize internal staff meetings to promote communication and consistency.
• Plan and manage own work; participate in projects; adapt to change.
