Job summary

Lawrence Hall seeks a dedicated Case Manager for its WIOA program serving out-of-school Chicago youth and young adults. You will work in the field with a team to help participants overcome barriers, gain credentials, and transition to sustainable employment.

Responsibilities include intake assessments, job placement support, life-domain coaching, and coordinating services with families and schools. This role requires travel throughout the Chicago area and on-site programming at our South Shore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field or equivalent experience.
• Valid Illinois driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and computer literacy skills.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• High emotional intelligence, empathy, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with youth through intake assessments and achievement planning.
• Assist youth with obtaining job placement.
• Provide life-domain coaching in employment, education, housing, and mental health.
• Deliver mentoring and positive behavior modeling in the field.
• Coordinate with families, mentors, employers, and schools to build wrap‑around support.
• Navigate community resources to connect youth with social service systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation across program funding data systems.
