Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of NE Florida seeks a Youth Development Professional- Education to support teens at Clanzel Brown Teen Center in Jacksonville. You will design and supervise education programs, including Career Launch, DIY STEM, and Money Matters, fostering high school graduation and college readiness.

The role emphasizes safe environments, character development, and age-appropriate activities for ages 6 to 18, with afternoon hours and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing educational programs for members of all ages (Career Launch, DIY STEM, Money Matters, etc.)
• Recruiting and retaining youth for educational programs
• Collaborating with staff to implement programs during the school year
• Collecting and maintaining student grades and educational data
• Ensure safety and provide guidance and role modeling
