Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of NE Florida in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking an Education Youth Development Professional for part-time hours in the afternoons. You will plan and supervise educational activities, promote safety, and guide youth ages 6 to 18 through targeted programs designed to prepare them for success.

Responsibilities include executing programs like Career Launch, DIY STEM, Money Matters, and more, recruiting youth, collecting grades, and coordinating with staff to ensure quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.
• Knowledge of youth development and behavior management.
• Ability to motivate youth and work with the public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for academic development.
• Ability to supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Educational programs for members of all ages.
• Recruit and retain youth for educational programs.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver programs throughout the school year.
• Collect and manage student grades and educational data.
• Prepare weekly reports for program leadership and maintain daily schedules.
• Assist in planning events, field trips and guest speakers.
