Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of Northeast Florida is seeking a Youth Development Professional- Education at the Clanzel Brown Teen Center in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on helping members graduate high school on time and prepare for post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.

You will plan, supervise, and run high-yield educational activities within health and life skills programs, guiding youth ages 6 to 18 and maintaining program data and progress toward goals.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of youth development concepts.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for academic development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Educational programs for members ages 6–18, including Career Launch, DIY STEM, Money Matters, Power Hour, and more.
• Recruit and retain youth for educational programs.
• Collaborate with club staff to deliver programs throughout the school year; collect and maintain student grades and data.
