Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, evaluates and oversees implementation of educational activities and services.
• Monitors educational delivery and plans improvements with education staff.
• Implements and oversees learning activities and projects.
• Communicates with staff, members and partners about tutoring and learning opportunities.
• Trains and guides instructors to promote youth well-being and proper program understanding.
• Consults with parents about member issues and manages grants including monthly reports.
