Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor is seeking an Education Experience Specialist to lead educational programming at the Leadership Center. You will co-teach, plan lessons, and supervise staff while partnering with local districts to provide a safe, engaging space for youth during the day.

The role focuses on instructional leadership, trauma-informed practices, and collaboration with families and schools to support social-emotional growth and academic enrichment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a youth-facing or educational leadership role.
• Experience working with middle/high school youth in classroom or out-of-school settings.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Co-plan and implement educational and enrichment programming aligned with the organization’s framework.
• Co-teach in classroom and Club settings with staff support.
• Facilitate group activities for middle and high school youth.
• Assist in data collection on student progress and goals.
• Plan daily lesson materials and activity schedules.
• Support trauma-informed classroom management practices.
• Train and mentor new team members; participate in program improvements.
• Oversee operations including attendance and roster management.
