Job summary

Boys & Girls Club Of Athens Inc in Indiana seeks a Youth Development Professional to plan, administer and supervise the Indiana Kids grant program, providing tutoring, homework help and career exploration to members.

You will mentor members, promote a safe, positive environment, track progress, coordinate field trips and ensure program activities meet goals. A high school diploma and 18+ years old are required; experience with youth and Excel preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience tutoring or teaching math/literacy preferred.
• Experience with youth, particularly elementary school age.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise Indiana Kids grant program activities.
• Provide tutoring, homework help, and career exploration opportunities.
• Track and report member progress.
• Maintain a positive climate and safe program space.
• Recruit and lead members for field trips and activities.
• Engage youth in academic, healthy lifestyle, and civic activities.
• Attend staff meetings and perform related duties.
