Job summary

Urban Peak is seeking an Education & Employment Case Manager to support 1:1 education programming for youth in Denver, CO. The role involves coordinating GED prep, high school re-enrollment, tutoring, and liaison with community partners to meet education and employment goals.

The position requires a master’s degree in a related field or a bachelor’s with substantial experience, strong data management, and ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or education or counseling AND a minimum of two years’ case management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, human services, education or counseling OR related fields AND three years’ experience working with children/youth.

Responsibilities

• Provide GED and post-secondary education support for youth.
• Serve as point of contact for Urban Peak youth enrolled in local high schools.
• Attend Education classroom hours and all functions of the classroom space.
• Conduct assessment tests and strategize GED preparation planning with students.
• Conduct presentations and classroom activities for GED students, tutor students in GED subjects.
