Job summary

Urban Peak in Denver seeks an Education & Employment Case Manager to support GED preparation, high school re-enrollment, and post-secondary planning for youth. You will coordinate with education partners, provide tutoring, and help students access post-secondary resources.

The role requires a master’s or bachelor’s in a related field with experience in case management and trauma-informed care; travel and collaboration across Urban Peak programs are expected. Full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in social work, psychology, child development, education, or counseling with 2+ years of case management experience; OR a bachelor’s in behavioral science, human services, education, or counseling with 3+ years working with youth; OR 5 years FT experience with homeless or runaway youth.
• Experience in teaching or counseling is preferred.
• Ability to connect with a diverse youth population in a culturally responsive manner; trauma-informed care understanding; data collection and maintaining client files.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 education support including GED prep, high school re-enrollment, tutoring and classroom support.
• Develop individual education and employment plans; coordinate with local partners and Urban Peak departments.
• Manage education and employment hours, mentor youths, and assist with resource identification.
• Input client data and document services; collaborate with the Education Coordinator and other staff.
