Job summary

Early Years Alliance in Lincolnshire is seeking a Learning and Disabilities Practitioner to support children aged 5–18 with disabilities or complex health needs, delivering short breaks and targeted sessions in community venues across Spalding and surrounding areas. You will work with a small team to plan engaging activities that build confidence and independence.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent, with relevant experience.
Understanding of the needs of disabled or complex health needs children.
Proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working with social care, education and voluntary partners.

Responsibilities

Facilitate high-quality community, youth groups and holiday sessions for children aged 5–18 with disabilities in local venues.
Plan and deliver activities promoting self-confidence and independence for attendees.
Assess and track progress against EHCP outcomes where applicable using tools such as Tapestry and Outcome Wheels.
Support parents and caregivers to access Local Offer information and encourage peer group participation.
