Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional III to support the 21st Century Grant school-age tutoring program. Under the supervision of the Program Director, you will help implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, supervise children ages 6-12, and help deliver activities that meet SMART objectives.

This is a temporary role ending around June 2027, with duties including licensing compliance, safety, and collaboration with parents and school staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet Delaware OCCL requirements for Early Childhood
• Must pass FBI and state background checks including sexual abuse registries
• First Aid/CPR certification or obtain within two months of hire

Responsibilities

• Tutor and assist with homework and academic enrichment
• Supervise children and ensure safety per licensing rules
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with 21st Century Grant goals
• Maintain relationships with parents, school staff, and administrators
• Model positive behavior and support program outcomes
