Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to oversee safety, programming, and childcare operations across school sites, delivering trusted supports that align with our three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.

You will ensure compliance with safety policies, manage member check-in/out, and execute engaging activities while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience working with youth.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must pass agency background screens and drug screen at any time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility and child safety in accordance with policies.
• Complete required reports and data entry on time.
• Deliver assigned programming and activities.
• Provide excellent customer service at the front desk or check-in area.
• Enforce safety, security, and licensing requirements at all times.
