Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is seeking a Childcare Youth Development Specialist to provide hands-on programming while ensuring a safe, engaging environment for members. The role emphasizes academic success, healthy lifestyles, and positive citizenship within school-site programs.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, maintaining documentation, and delivering quality programming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience working with youth.
• Must meet state requirements for employment at licensed childcare site.
• Available to work 2pm–7pm, Monday–Friday during the school year; up to 37.5 hours per week in summer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility and child safety by following health and safety policies.
• Administer programming and maintain quality programming.
• Collect data and complete reporting.
• Report incidents and maintain records.
