Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is seeking a part-time Youth Development Specialist in Oviedo, FL. You will support club leadership to deliver an outcome-driven experience across core pillars like education, character development, and health, while ensuring youth safety and positive development.

The role emphasizes small-group interaction, program administration, and collaboration with staff and volunteers to foster a safe, engaging environment for youth ages 6–18.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred in education, youth development, or related field.
• Experience with youth in educational or development settings is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adaptability and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate activities in the assigned program area.
• Provide active, engaged presence to support youth development and a safe club environment.
• Collect attendance, coursework, and behavior data; participate in staff meetings and training.
• Ensure program areas are set up, safe, and aligned with core program pillars.

Education
