Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to support Club leadership and deliver the core program pillars for youth ages 6 to 18. You will help ensure a safe, engaging after-school experience while guiding academics, character development, and healthy lifestyle choices.

The role emphasizes hands-on program delivery, data tracking, staff collaboration, and adherence to child safety standards in a club setting with evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and implement age-appropriate programs.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience or willingness to work with diverse youth in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate activities in the assigned program area.
• Provide active and engaged presence to support youth in a safe environment.
• Collect and track attendance, coursework, and behavior data as needed.
• Ensure program areas are set up, cleaned, and aligned with BGCCF pillars.
• Maintain records of activities, participation, and achievements.
