Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties is hiring a Youth Development Professional to support after-school programs in Richland, WA. This part-time, hourly role focuses on arts, health and life skills, leadership, education, and recreation, under the supervision of the Site Coordinator.

You will engage youth, foster safe, fun environments, build community relationships, assist with outreach, and help ensure licensing and club quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and help implement youth programs in Arts, Health and Life Skills, Leadership, Education and Career Development, and Recreation.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community members.
• Plan activities that give youth a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence and competence.
• Establish a safe, healthy program environment and promote club initiatives.
• Outreach and recruitment, and marketing of programs.
• Ensure licensing regulations are followed.
