Job summary

The Senior Youth Development Professional in Dover, FL supports planning and leading activities that promote academic success, health, life skills, and workforce readiness. The role serves as a role model, mentors newer staff, and provides clerical support for membership records including My ClubHub.

It requires supervising activities, ensuring safety, and coordinating with club staff, parents, and volunteers. Part-time, hourly, and travel within counties may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Clubs or similar organization preferred.
• Complete 40 hours of DCF training within one year of employment, including first 90 days.
• CPR training to be completed within 90 days of hire; ongoing professional development encouraged.
• Intermediate computer knowledge; experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading activities focused on belonging and opportunity.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to Club members and Youth Development Professionals.
• Perform administrative tasks for membership records and My ClubHub, including data entry.
• Manage daily sign-in/sign-out processes with parent/approved adult verification.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment and collaborate with staff during events.
