Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of Tampa Bay Inc is seeking a Senior Youth Development Professional in Dover, FL. This part-time, hourly role involves planning and leading activities that foster belonging, academic success, health, life skills, and workforce readiness for Club members.

You will mentor Youth Development Professionals, assist with membership records in My ClubHub, and support administrative tasks for the Club Director. Travel within Hillsborough and surrounding counties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or college degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Clubs or similar organization preferred.
• Planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people highly preferred.
• Complete the required 40 hours of DCF training within one year of employment, including any training due within the first 90 days and all required in-person exams.
• Successfully complete organization sponsored CPR training within 90 days of hire.
• Additional training may be required for continuing education and professional development.
• Must have intermediate computer knowledge and skills. Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities focusing on belonging and opportunity through academics, health, life skills, leadership, and workforce readiness.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to Youth Development Professionals.
• Assist with membership records maintenance, My ClubHub, and member file management.
• Data entry and updates to the membership tracking system; manage daily sign-in/sign-out with parent/authorized adult verification.
• Collaborate with Club staff and other locations; support weekend or extended hours for events when needed.
