Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida is seeking a STEM-Lead/YDP to ensure youth development principles are embedded in after-school programs in St. Augustine.

The role will plan, supervise, and deliver high-yield activities with a health and life-skills focus, 2.5–3 hours daily, Monday through Friday. As a backup to the Unit Director, you will assist with program delivery, recruit and retain youth, and coordinate with school partners and career professionals to connect youth with future

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for one of the Club's core areas.
• Ability to supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing a variety of youth programs for members of all ages.
• Recruiting and retaining youth for all programs.
• Working with other staff to implement these programs throughout the school year.
• Arrange and invite career professionals to engage with youth about career paths.
• Serves as a backup to the Unit Director when necessary.
• This position helps members make choices about education, career, and well-being.
