Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a STEM Lead Youth Development Professional for the afterschool program. The role focuses on integrating youth development principles into STEM activities and serves as a backup to the Unit Director, coordinating high-yield programs for ages 6–18.

The candidate will plan, supervise and implement activities, recruit members, and collaborate with staff and professionals to enhance career exploration opportunities.

• Ability to work with the public.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing a variety of youth programs for members of all ages.
• Recruiting and retaining youth for all programs.
• Working with other staff in the club to help implement these programs throughout the school year.
• Arrange and invite career professionals to engage with youth about career paths.
• Serves as a backup to the Unit Director when necessary.
