Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida is seeking a STEM Lead Youth Development Professional to ensure youth development principles are integrated into programs and to serve as a backup to the Unit Director, helping deliver high-yield STEM activities for members ages 6 to 18.

The role involves planning and supervising programs, recruiting and retaining youth, coordinating with school staff, inviting career professionals, and maintaining a safe, positive club environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a variety of youth programs for members of all ages.
• Recruit and retain youth for all programs.
• Work with club staff to deliver programs throughout the school year.
• Arrange and invite career professionals to engage with youth about career paths.
• Serve as backup to the Unit Director when necessary.
• Ensure youth development principles are incorporated into all programs and activities.
