Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness seeks a Child and Youth Program Leader to provide direct care and instruction for children aged 6 weeks to 18 years, while mentoring CY Program Assistants and guiding curriculum development.

Responsibilities include planning activities, supervising daily schedules, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with DoD policies and national standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate programs for ages 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Ability to train and mentor CY Program Assistants.
• Familiarity with DoD policies and national accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Mentor CY Program Assistant team and provide instruction.
• Plan activities aligning with physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Supervise children and youth during indoor/outdoor activities and field trips.
