NAVY REGION NORTHWEST Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Child and Youth Program Leader to provide direct care and instruction for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years, while mentoring CY Program Assistants and guiding program staff. Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate programs for 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Ability to mentor CY Program Assistants and train staff.
• Experience planning age-appropriate activities and curricula.
• Ability to supervise and ensure safety of participants.
• Strong written and verbal communication with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and instruction to children and youth.
• Mentor CY Program Assistants and translate training into practice.
• Plan activities meeting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Supervise daily activities and field trips.
• Communicate with parents and installation personnel.
• Ensure compliance with DoD DoDI policies and standards.
